Preserving the Past
I was honored to be able to have the opportunity to work with the city of Virginia, Illinois and restore this gorgeous old ad. We met and researched the product, finding a very interesting company history that trailed from Chicago to Peoria to South America to Australia. After matching the colors I set up shop and worked on this during the Virginia days celebration. The goal was to bring it back to about 75% – 80% and preserve that “old advertisement” feel. Very fun and interesting project.
