Old, Old, Old School Lettering

Quite an honor to work with the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency to recreate the lettering on this historic property. The attention to detail and research from everyone involved allowed us to identify the correct font, text and spacing used so that we could insure this is (as close as we know) what this building would look like in the mid 1840’s. It just boggles my mind how someone would have done this using only ladders and inferior paints and brushes back then.
